Picture This: Programs viewed by thousands, but pitched by none.
The Green Columbus Earth Week podiums are semi-permanant installations that display a program containing a listing of all things green going on about Columbus during the week of and around Earth Day. Then on the day of the celebration (April 19th), all five will be moved to Goodale Park to hold a guide to the Earth Day celebration, including stage listings, a booth map and other good info. These beautiful podiums were hand-built by Roto Studios, who used leftover pieces from other exhibits and a few new parts. They contain LED lighting from Watt Works to illuminate the programs in dark settings, as well as advanced rechargable batteries from Batteries Plus that can keep the lights burning a week or more.
